Golden Silk Spider
They are also called the Banana Spider. The females are huge - up to 4 inches long and will spin webs bigger than 3 feet across. Some of the trails at the Circle Bar Ranch have trees along either side and I saw webs stretching across them about 10 feet off the ground.
